Hard Hat Leadership: Built to Lead is a three-part leadership series designed specifically for builders, remodelers, project managers, superintendents, and construction professionals who want to strengthen their leadership impact on the jobsite and beyond.

This program recognizes a common reality in construction: strong technical performers are often promoted into leadership roles without formal leadership training. As a result, many leaders are left to figure it out under pressure—while managing crews, schedules, conflict, and communication in high-stakes environments.

Over three full-day sessions, participants will explore what it truly means to lead in the construction industry. Using familiar building metaphors—foundation, framing, and finish—this series focuses on developing the mindset, decision-making skills, communication habits, and leadership standards required to lead people as intentionally as projects are built.

Participants will gain practical tools to:

    • Lead with confidence and accountability under pressure
    • Improve communication and trust with crews, vendor, and peers
    • Navigate conflict and decision-making on the jobsite
    • Build consistency, professionalism, and pride in their teams
    • Understand how leadership behavior directly impacts culture, performance, and results
